Good day all members
We would like to thank all our members for their fantastic support over the last few months and wish everyone a safe passage during these unusual times. In these difficult economic times we have started a “Let’s Support Members Businesses” initiative, with a view to promoting members businesses. This way we can support each other and help grow our businesses. If you would like to participate, kindly see Business Initiative instructions hereunder.
At this stage we are allowed to operate a one tee start with 10 minute intervals or a two tee start with 12 minute intervals. By doing a one tee start, we are reducing the risk of players congregating in the Pro shop and players coming into the halfway house, to keep us in line with the Risk Mitigation Strategy prescribed by GolfRSA. By using a one tee start we can book 164 players a day, and with a two tee start we can book 160 players a day.
Another advantage of using one tee is that 9 hole golfers may start teeing off behind the last 18 hole tee time because no players are turning on the first tee. Since opening on 13th June, we registered 372 nine hole players and collected R28 000.
As the daylight improves we will be able to book even more players with a one tee start.
It is the intention to open the 10th tee from 06:40 to 08:00 on Saturdays and Sundays for members who wish to play 9 holes only.
All the above will create extra revenue during these difficult times.
Carts are still only one per person unless you are a family that resides in the same house.
We remind all members that alcohol is still strictly prohibited.
